Our Reflection on Participating at REHACARE 2025 in Düsseldorf

From September 17th to 20th, we had the opportunity to take part in one of the world’s largest trade fairs dedicated to assistive technology – REHACARE 2025, which is traditionally held every September in Düsseldorf, Germany.

For our team, REHACARE is a significant event. Each year, it brings together thousands of visitors, companies, manufacturers, and innovators from around the world, offering a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, connect with partners, and discover the latest trends and technologies in the field of assistive technology.

Presenting our new products

This year at REHACARE we presented SENcastle – a compact sensory room which offers a fully immersive multisensory experience in a unique format. Together with that, we also officially introduced two new sensory products from our portfolio for the very first time:

SENcastle Access – accessible and inclusive sensory solution – a tabletop version of SENcastle, specifically adapted for wheelchair users. The device can be controlled via eyegaze technology, switches, or by pressing buttons directly on the SENcastle Access base. This makes SENcastle Access one of the few sensory devices that can be used independently, even by individuals with the most complex forms of disabilities.

SENcastle Light – a standalone sensory element which consists of a light column and a base. It is ideal for sensory rooms or any other environment where a rich visual and auditory sensory experience is desired. A key feature of this device is its exceptional ease of installation, as it can be fully set up in under five minutes.

Weighted blanket

Furthermore, to our standard six sensory pillows, which come with SENcastle, it is now possible to order a weighted blanket as an optional piece of equipment. This weighted blanket is an indispensable element for many of our users, providing rich proprioceptive input for relaxation.

Presenting our new team member - ULI

In addition to our new products, we are delighted to announce that Uli Ehlert has joined our team. As an expert with extensive experience in the field of assistive technology, his knowledge and many years of work in this sector will significantly contribute to our further growth, innovation, and global recognition in the field of assistive technology.

Why REHACARE matters

Participating in this fair is always a poignant reminder of the importance of ensuring maximum accessibility and opportunities for independence for people with disabilities and children with developmental disorders. Assistive technology enables exactly that – empowering people to reach their full potential, achieve greater freedom, and improve their quality of everyday life.

For us, REHACARE was also an opportunity to place our products directly into the hands of end users – people with disabilities and neurodiverse children – and receive their impressions and feedback firsthand. This feedback provides us with invaluable guidance on how to develop further and refine our solutions, enabling us to contribute even more strongly to building an inclusive society in the future.

Once again, this fair has shown that when technology is designed with users in mind, it can make a tremendous difference in everyday life. We are proud to be part of this global progress, and we look forward to the new projects and collaborations that have emerged from our participation at REHACARE 2025.
